Aiguille du Peigne – Arête des Papillons

The ridge of the Butterflies is a classic course, on the air route, which offers a privileged panorama on the north face of the Aiguille du Midi and the Aiguilles Rouges chain opposite. The atmosphere is at the edge of the high mountains, both mineral with the steep peaks and glaciers surrounding, and more green down, between blueberries and rhododendrons. The Aiguille du Comb offers us here a superb race of ridge on a granite compact, with clear cracks, a feast for the eyes and the climbing!
