The Talamarche peak (1850m)

Nestled in the heart of the Bornes massif, the Pointe de Talamarche is a summit which culminates at 1850m of altitude. Although this hike is one of the TOPs of the region, the itinerary is much less frequented than the one of La Tournette, which makes it an equally pleasant outing as soon as the snow gives way to the green mountain pastures.

La pointe de Talamarche - D+ 710m D- 710m - 5h30 walk

The Pointe de Talamarche is a magnificent summit located between the Dents de Lanfon and the Tournette. The preserved itinerary offers relatively accessible passages in varied environments between alpine pastures and small ridges until the summit ridge perched at 1850m of altitude. After 700m of difference in altitude, you will not be disappointed by the view that the summit offers you with a 360° panorama going from the Mont Blanc massif to the Aravis summits passing by the azure tints of the Annecy Lake. Certainly one of the most beautiful hikes of the Bornes massif around Lake Annecy.

This hike is relatively accessible but still demanding and suitable for experienced hikers.
