The beginning of the stay will start in Chamonix the day before the first day of the trek. Over a small aperitif, you will meet your mountain leader who will present the itinerary in detail and answer any last questions.
The next day, we leave for 7 days of hiking around the roof of Europe. The beginning of the itinerary will take place in the Beaufortain massif in front of the Dômes de Miage, in a wild and preserved atmosphere. You will discover unseen passages formerly used by the alpagists in search of new pasture lands. After passing the col de la croix du bonhomme, we will switch to the valley of the glaciers. We are in the heart of the mountain pastures where the famous Beaufort cheese is made. After the ascent to the Seigne pass, Italy opens up to us via the Val Veny. The southern side of the Mont-Blanc massif becomes more vertical and rocky. The "High Mountain" atmosphere is omnipresent with the presence of the imposing Miage and Brenva glaciers and the numerous serac falls that can be heard in the valley. After a night spent in Courmayeur in the comfort of a hotel, we will resume our balcony itinerary facing the Grandes Jorasses, one of the most beautiful panoramas of our tour before reaching the Bonatti refuge for the night. The passage in Switzerland will be done by the big ferret pass located at 2537m of altitude, the highest point of our tour with in bottom the Valaisan alps. Arriving in Champex-le-lac at the end of the afternoon, you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this pretty mid-mountain village and its lake. After having crossed the Swiss alpine pastures of Bovine and having met its Hérens we will take the direction of France. The last day will be the occasion to discover one of the most beautiful views of the Chamonix needles, the summit of the Mont-Blanc, the sea of ice, the green needle, the needle of the south from the white lake situated in the natural reserve of the red needles. After this crossing, we will take the Flégère ski lifts to reach the Arve valley and return to Chamonix, the cradle of mountaineering.
And if you are still asking for more, why not try treks on other mountain range?
