A real vertical adventure, the via ferrata is a physical activity that will take you off the beaten track on sometimes vertiginous routes. It's a great way to get your adrenaline flowing and to experience the thrill of the most aerial passages!
From June, the instructors and mountain guides of the Annecy office offer to accompany you on the via ferrata of La Sambuy to discover this mountain activity halfway between hiking and climbing in a gentle and fun way. Equipped with harness, helmet, via lanyards with karabiners and absorber, you will evolve on the cliff by an easy way thanks to the various workshops with cables, bridge of monkeys and Nepalese, bars and footbridges equipped on the rock which will facilitate your progression.
Equipped on the top of the ski area of the Sambuy resort, the via ferrata is easily accessible by the chairlift from the resort. Once you reach the top, the panorama opens up on the top of the domain and you will only have 10 minutes of approach walk on the access path to reach the start of the activity.
Before setting off, your guide will give you all the instructions and best practices for handling your equipment correctly and thus guarantee a safe outing. The course, made up of several parts, is punctuated with beams, monkey bridges, footbridges and inverted ladders as well as 2 escape routes which allow you to stop your progress if necessary. The diversity of the workshops and the resolutely natural landscape make it an ideal via ferrata for beginners or people who wish to discover the Bauges massif, its fauna and flora, in a completely different way.
Relatively fast (about 1h on the course and 70 metres of difference in height), the "Cordée des Dahuts" is one of the activities that allows you to take time to enjoy the fauna and flora of the mid-mountain but also to be transported by the alpine atmosphere with the mountain chalets, for example, without forgetting of course the breathtaking view of Lake Annecy which is revealed as you progress along the cliffs.
