Day 1 : At the foot of the pierced point

Welcome and briefing.
We leave the col des Annes to reach the col de l'oulettaz. The ridge path gives us a beautiful perspective on the whole Aravis chain. After a steep descent we start our climb in the lapiaz. We leave the refuge of Gramusset, which has just been renovated, behind us and continue our ascent in the combe des verts, chaos of scree and rocks. The ascent to the col des verts is steep. It gives way to a superb view of the Mont-Blanc massif. We continue our itinerary via the col de Doran to the summit of the Quatre Têtes. Then we go down to the chalets of Doran to spend the night.

Day 2 : Return via the passage of the saix

The view of the pierced point from the refuge makes us think of the Matterhorn by its shape. We start our day under the areu towers then join the Saix passage, the most exposed passage of our tour. The view on the Fiz is magnificent. We reach the Chérente mountain pasture where the atmosphere is much less vertical. We leave the chalets of Vormy on our right and go under the pointe du Château. We reach the col des Annes via the GR 96.
