Let's go with the colours of the twilight for a snowshoe hike on the Semnoz mountain. We will move between the forest and the alpine pastures of Haute-Savoie with a 360° view of Mont-Blanc, La Tournette and the Bauges massif. You can watch the sunset over the snow-covered peaks while making your mark in the fresh snow. After about 1h30 of walking, we will stop to share a good Savoyard meal. The return trip (about 30 minutes) will be made at the front or by moonlight.

Let's go with the colours of the twilight for a snowshoe hike on the Semnoz mountain.  We will move between the forest and the alpine pastures of Haute-Savoie with a 360° view of Mont-Blanc, La Tournette and the Bauges massif. You can watch the sunset over the snow-covered peaks while making your mark in the fresh snow. After about 1h30 to 2h walking, we will stop to share a good Savoyard meal. The return trip (about 30 minutes) will be made at the front or by moonlight.

Road access: By car only to the top of Semnoz (30 min from Annecy)

Snowshoeing and Restaurant "By Night" on Semnoz Mountain

The price includes
Supervision by a qualified hiking guide.
The loan of snowshoes, poles and a headlamp for the night walk.
The Savoyard meal which consists of: a salad, a delicatessen platter, a Savoyard dish (Tartiflette or Fondue aux cèpes), an iced dessert, a quarter of wine and a coffee or herbal tea.
The price does not include
Transportation to the starting point of the hike.
Anything not indicated in the "price includes" section.
Number of participants
COLLECTIVE OUTING: Confirmed outings only from 6 people booked / niche. Groups can be formed up to a maximum of 10 participants / 1 mountain leader.
Schedule and meeting place
At 5pm on the car park in front of the Nordic chalet of Semnoz (cross-country skiing centre in the forest sector). Return to the starting point in the evening around 10pm.

Participant’s personal equipment
Warm, high and waterproof hiking or snow shoes (no Moon Boot or low-top sneakers!!!) suitable for snowshoeing, warm, breathable clothing adapted to the weather (fleece, down jacket, windproof and waterproof jacket, gloves or mittens, hat), backpack for picnics or snacks, water (1L for half days to 2L for full days), sunscreen, cap, sunglasses (mask in strong wind)

For safety reasons, people who do not have the right equipment on the day of the outing may be refused by the mountain leader and the outing will not be refunded
