1st day: Great way to Ailefroide and ascent to the Glacier Blanc hut (2542m) (altitude difference 670m)
Morning dedicated to the discovery of a great way on the cliffs bordering Ailefroide. This will be the opportunity to review the rope manipulations, and to have fun in this little piece of paradise. We will finish the day by the ascent to the Glacier Blanc refuge, 2542m.
2h to 2h30.
2nd day: Ridge crossing Cinéastes (3205m) and climb until the refuge des Ecrins (3175m)
We will leave early in the morning for the crossing of the Pointes des Cinéastes (3205m). 4 to 6 hours. The afternoon will be devoted to the ascent to the refuge des Ecrins, 600m higher. The route is mostly on a glacier, and you can already admire the panorama on the highest peaks of the valley (Roche Faurio, Dôme and Barre des Ecrins)
3rd day: South ridge of Pointe Louise (3668m) (5-7h) and down into the valley.
A short approach (1 hour), and we will attack the beginning of the South East ridge of Point Louise itself. Aerial, this ridge reserves a climb on a superb granite, of a difficulty never exceeding 4b. From the summit (3668m), the descent is made by large snow slopes, until the refuge.
Allow a little more energy for the descent into the valley. (3-4h)
