Unforgettable 2-Day Ski Touring in the Aravis

Unforgettable 2-Day Ski Touring in the Aravis

Day 1:

We'll meet up to get to know each other, finalize our backpacks, and maybe grab a coffee.

We'll then start the day by taking the ski lifts and follow with a pleasant 900-meter descent along the slopes. This will be an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with our equipment.

It's finally time to attach our climbing skins to our skis and head towards the Gramusset hut, leaving the beaten paths behind. This ascent of 300 to 500 vertical meters, depending on the chosen route, allows us to learn the techniques specific to ski touring.

After a well-deserved break at the hut, we'll take advantage of the end of the day to learn or review the use of avalanche safety equipment. And why not, push our ascent a little further.

We'll end the day enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere of the hut. After a meal made with delicious local products, the night should be restful.

Day 2:

The second day of your raid offers two options to explore the surroundings of the Gramusset hut and consolidate your skills. We can choose between the ascent of the Pointe des Carmélites or the Col des Verts, both offering exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding massifs, including the majestic Mont Blanc. Both routes will allow you to enjoy the beauty of the landscapes, practice the techniques learned the day before, and end the day in style on the slopes of the Grand-Bornand ski area.

Imagine yourself, at the summit of the Pointe des Carmélites or the Col des Verts, contemplating the Mont Blanc stretching out on the horizon, an unforgettable experience guaranteed!
