The Aiguilles Rouges massif is a perfect lookout point to admire the Mont Blanc massif. Climbing takes place in the sun, in a grandiose setting. With an approach of only 30 to 40 min, Aiguilles Crochues have beautiful paths, equipped or not, but all in a mountain spirit. You are a climber and you want to learn mountain climbing: the Ravanel route is what you need: a complete itinerary, of considerable length, alternating climbing (level 5c), and crossing of ridge.

Itinerary

Approach:
Cable car of Flégère then chairlift of the Index.
From the summit of the Index chairlift, we will head towards the foot of the southern ridge of the southern summit of Aiguilles Crochues.
Itinerary:
The route begins with 7 climbing lengths of level 5c, then a nice ridge crossing to the summit of S Aiguilles Crochues.
The descent is made by an edge to the Crochues pass, or by the Lac Blanc.
Allow 6 to 8 hours for the loop.
