Igloo building workshop

Igloo building workshop

Imagine you lost in winter in the mountains, the night begins to fall and the temperature to drop. You have no alternative but to bivouac in the snow. Fortunately you have a minimum of equipment and knowledge that will allow you to create a makeshift shelter so that you can spend the night "warm". The mountain leaders of the Annecy Guides office offer a workshop "building a snow shelter" which is aimed at both experienced skiers and snowshoers and beginners. The objective of the day is to learn the basics of building a snow shelter. Depending on the snow conditions, the quality of the snow and the environment, you will have to adapt and use the most appropriate technique.
