The Great Arabesque is the chain of 5 major routes in the Aravis massif. From the Mamule to Pointe Percée, via Petite Miaz, Mont Charvet, and Pointe Chombas travel these beautiful routes with compact limestone. Two days will be necessary to complete the adventure with a night at the Bombardellaz refuge.

A trip inside the Aravis

"La Grande Arabesque"  is the last journey of the Aravis. A departure from the Confins car park will take you to the Col des Anes at the foot of Pointe Percée. For that it will be necessary all the same to chain 1200m of climbing. La Mamule by the "Tonneau des Danaide" as an amuse-bouche guide, then La Petite Miaz by "Mama Miaz". A descent to the Bombardellaz refuge for some potato fritters and a well-deserved night. The next day in the fresh it will be necessary to climb on the Charvet Mount by "Snow to Sarah" to follow on the point of Chombas with "Indian summer" then to finish with the wall of Gramusset in "Chinese shadow".
