Night snowshoeing tour of about 2h walking followed with a Savoyard meal
Let’s set out as twilight falls for a snowshoe hike on the Follières Plateau. We’ll make our way through the forests and alpine pastures of Haute-Savoie, enjoying panoramic views of Mont Blanc, La Tournette, and the Aravis. You’ll watch the sunset over the snow-capped peaks as you make your own tracks in the fresh snow. After a loop hike of about two hours by headlamp or moonlight, it will be time to take off your snowshoes and enjoy a hearty Savoyard meal.
Level required for this outing: Beginner (See the article on snowshoe levels for self-assessment)
Road access: By car only for the Col de la Croix Fry (45 min from Annecy / 15 min from La Clusaz / 15 min from Manigod)
