Let’s set out under the twilight sky for a nighttime snowshoe hike on the Follières Plateau in La Clusaz. We’ll make our way through the forests and alpine pastures of Haute-Savoie, enjoying panoramic views of Mont Blanc, La Tournette, and the Aravis. You’ll watch the sunset over the snow-capped peaks as you make your own tracks in the fresh snow. After about two hours of walking by headlamp or moonlight, it will be time to take off your snowshoes and enjoy a hearty Savoyard meal.

Night snowshoeing tour of about 2h walking followed with a Savoyard meal

Let’s set out as twilight falls for a snowshoe hike on the Follières Plateau. We’ll make our way through the forests and alpine pastures of Haute-Savoie, enjoying panoramic views of Mont Blanc, La Tournette, and the Aravis. You’ll watch the sunset over the snow-capped peaks as you make your own tracks in the fresh snow. After a loop hike of about two hours by headlamp or moonlight, it will be time to take off your snowshoes and enjoy a hearty Savoyard meal.

Road access: By car only for the Col de la Croix Fry (45 min from Annecy / 15 min from La Clusaz / 15 min from Manigod)

The price includes
Supervision by a qualified hiking guide.
The loan of snowshoes, poles and a headlamp for the night walk.
The Savoyard meal.
The price does not include
Transportation to the starting point of the hike.
Anything not indicated in the "price includes" section.
Participant’s personal equipment
Warm, high and waterproof hiking or snow shoes (no Moon Boot or low-top sneakers!!!) suitable for snowshoeing, warm, breathable clothing adapted to the weather (fleece, down jacket, windproof and waterproof jacket, gloves or mittens, hat), backpack for picnics or snacks, water (1L for half days to 2L for full days), sunscreen, cap, sunglasses (mask in strong wind)

For safety reasons, people who do not have the right equipment on the day of the outing may be refused by the mountain leader and the outing will not be refunded
Group
COLLECTIVE OUTING: Confirmed outings only from 5 people booked / niche. Groups can be formed up to a maximum of 10 participants / 1 mountain leader.
Schedule and meeting place
Meet at the base of the cross-country ski trails at 6 p.m. The hike will end around 8 p.m., followed by dinner at the restaurant.
Menu Savoy
The “Savoie” menu, featuring your choice of: Savoyard fondue, “Manigodine” farmhouse raclette, or tartiflette with Manigod Reblochon, served with a salad and all-you-can-eat charcuterie; or pierrade (beef and poultry) with French fries and a salad, all-you-can-eat *** Génépi Ice Cream Parfait or Deconstructed Blueberry Tart *** 1/4 bottle of wine / water in a carafe / coffee or herbal tea.

A minimum of two people per dish is required (except for the tartiflette).
