My first ski tour in the Beaufortain

My first ski tour in the Beaufortain

Your mountain guide offers you a unique mountain experience in winter and spring. Scheduled around the Refuge du Nant du Beurre, in the heart of the preserved Beaufortain massif, this itinerary is ideal to push the ski touring experience a little further with a night spent in a mountain refuge. The sector allows for a variety of itineraries to remain accessible to those who wish to discover the activity and/or improve their ski touring skills.

Day 1: Grand-Naves – Refuge du Nant du Beurre
Meet in the morning at Grand-Naves, followed by a coffee, briefing, and gear check. We’ll then begin the ascent to the Refuge du Nant du Beurre, passing via Quermoz and the east/southeast slope of La Bagnaz. This first day offers a great introduction to ski touring, practicing kick turns and learning how to manage pace in a mountain environment.
Ascent: 800 to 1200 m
Accommodation: Refuge du Nant du Beurre, full board

Day 2: Crêt du Rey – Counterclockwise tour
After breakfast, we set off toward the Crêt du Rey on a counterclockwise loop offering stunning views over the Beaufortain massif. This day allows participants to put into practice the skills acquired while enjoying the beauty of the alpine landscape.
Ascent: 800 to 1000 m
Descent: 800 to 1000 m
Return to the vehicles in the mid-afternoon. End of the tour.
