Ride and fun

The guides of the Annecy office are keen to share and transmit their passion and knowledge of the mountains. This is where the idea and desire to offer you this ski course during the winter holidays came from. The programme takes place over 5 days, starting from the resort of La Clusaz, in the Aravis, and is based on skiing in the broadest sense.

Days of freeride skiing to go and look for tracks in off-piste, to discover the hidden spots of the ski areas of La Clusaz or Le Grand-Bornand. You can also go and look for tracks even further. Take the chairlifts and continue a few metres on foot, skis on your back, that's what we call freerando.

Want to see more of the mountains? The course continues with ski touring. On marked itineraries or other wilder ones, far from the ski resorts and lifts, your guide will share with you the experience of ski touring: the perfect balance between effort and pleasure in preserved landscapes.

Information and safety training sessions are organised during the course to give you the keys to responsible skiing (perhaps this is what we call a taste for transmission?). Learning how to use avalanche rescue equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) or adopting the right gestures in the event of an avalanche accident, for example, are some of the topics that will be covered.

Small groups of 4 to 6 young people maximum / 1 high mountain guide. The idea is always to give priority to the quality and safety of the outings. Everyone finds their place in the group so that they feel comfortable making progress and enjoying the 5 days on skis together. This also allows the guide to adapt the programme according to the level of the participants and the weather conditions of the moment.
