Hiking week-end around Annecy lake

Annecy lake, the second largest natural lake in France by area, is a jewel with turquoise waters. It is located in the heart of the Haut-Savoyard Pre-Alps between the Bauges range and the Aravis chain. These limestone massifs with steep walls offer a wide variety of hiking routes with many magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountains. During this weekend, the mountain guides of the Annecy Guides Office will introduce you to a selection of the most beautiful hikes around the lake. You will be accommodated in a holiday residence on the shores of the lake that will allow you to rest and enjoy your stay to the fullest.

From the chalet of Aulp, in the heart of a huge mountain pasture, we will head towards the tip of Talamarche. On the way we will meet goats, cows, sheep and many farms where you can buy your cheese. Namely, a short passage is wired on the course.

The massif that borders Annecy lake to the west is called the Massif des Bauges. We suggest you discover it through a round trip hike on the Coal Mountain.
