Participants are therefore responsible for their own transport and must make their own arrangements.
At the very least, participants must provide a lift for the guide from Chamonix to the activity’s starting point and back.

insurances
Assistance – Rescue and Repatriation (compulsory)
To ensure your safety, taking out ‘assistance – repatriation’ insurance is essential for taking part in our trips.
Your cover must include high-altitude mountain activities, and in particular search and rescue costs, including those incurred by helicopter.
If you do not have suitable insurance, we can offer you a comprehensive solution perfectly tailored to your activities, at a rate of €5 per day.

Cancellation Insurance (peace of mind option)
To ensure you can book your trip with complete peace of mind, we offer ‘cancellation’ insurance at a rate of €12 per day, to be taken out when you register.
This cover protects you between the booking date and departure, in the event of unforeseen circumstances preventing you from taking part in the holiday. The cancellation fees set out in our terms and conditions may then be covered, provided the reason is covered by the insurance.
Please note that this insurance does not take into account the sporting nature of the activities on offer.
In the event of cancellation, the claim must be made within 5 days of the event, directly to the insurer.

Important information

Some credit cards include insurance cover: we advise you to check the terms and conditions associated with your card.
Insurance policies taken out are non-refundable.
Important note
If bad weather is forecast prior to departure, your guide will suggest postponing your climb until later in the summer or the following summer, subject to mountain hut availability.

As a mountain professional, the guide reserves the right to adapt, modify or shorten the route depending on weather conditions and/or the ability of one or more participants. In this case, no refund will be given.

Any additional day of guiding added to the originally proposed programme will be charged at €500 per day (excluding accommodation, meals and transport costs).
