The basics of rock climbing

Have you always wanted to climb outside on a real rock face? The SAFETY ACADEMY CLIMBING BASIC course gives you the chance to try it out! You will spend a day on rock faces in the great outdoors together with a state-certified mountain guide. This is the ideal climbing course for those getting back into climbing and experienced indoor climbers. We’ll ensure an effortless transition from the climbing gym to the rock face. We’ll teach you all the belaying techniques you’ll need to climb outside on your own. You’ll learn a lot of useful tips to ensure you have lots of fun and gain the necessary confidence when you start out on the rock. The course focuses on material theory, the correct way to clean sport anchors, differences from indoor climbing, and climbing technique. Along with the important training topics, there will of course also be plenty of outdoor climbing on the rock face.
