This discovery canyon is dedicated to beginners who want to learn canyoning for the first time in complete safety. After getting equipped and taking a short approach walk on a hiking trail starting from the hamlet of Angon, the canyon starts with the passage of the "letter box": a kind of limestone block stuck above a waterfall, a very funny passage to start the descent of the torrent! Then we continue in the gorges to link slides, jumps and various abseils in the middle of the waterfalls which will take us to the end of the stream.
It's a really beautiful experience, alternating walking in shallow water and descending waterfalls, in the middle of a lush forest. Nature lovers and thrill-seekers will not be left out!
Your guide or instructor will also explain to you before each workshop the best way to approach the obstacle, whether it is a jump, a slide or an abseil, comfortably installed in your harness.
There is no difficulty such as a siphon or white water swimming section, which will allow less experienced people to learn the basics easily! For a fully successful day between lake and mountain, we recommend combining your outing with another activity such as rock climbing, via ferrata or even paragliding in the Aravis!
The canyoning guides and instructors are all state-certified. They have all the necessary equipment for rescue and the organization of the canyoning descent. They will be there to advise you and help you discover the activity in a good atmosphere and in small groups of 8 people most of the time.
