Mountain guides from the Annecy Guides' Office offer you an unforgettable adventure between lake and mountain: Cruise and Hiking! From Annecy, we will sail towards Menthon St Bernard, aboard a ship of the Lake Annecy Boat Company. From the port of Menthon St Bernard, an easy ride of about 2 hours, led and commented by a mountain guide, will take place through the protected natural reserve of Roc de Chère to Talloires. Picnic lunch in Talloires (not included). Then we will drive to the wonderful Angon Falls. It is an hour and a half walk (uphill and downhill) to reach this waterfall 60 meters high. The return will be by the waves from the charming village of Angon.

Crossing the Roc de Chère and climb to the Angon waterfall

Want to discover the ride to Roc de Chère and you want to discover moreover the vertiginous waterfall of Angon? So this PLUS ++ service will fill you up. After only 1 hour of walking from Talloires, you will discover a waterfall of 60 meters to take your breath away.

We will descend on the pretty hamlet of Angon and take a boat from the company to return to Annecy, looping around the lake.

When the weather permits, it is possible to swim on a supervised beach.

The price includes

Supervision by a certified mountain guide.
Group of 12 people maximum per supervisor for an optimal security and user-friendliness.

The price does not include

The boat ticket (18€) to be bought on the day in the presence of your guide at the ticket office of the Compagnie des Bateaux.
Transportation to the start of the hike, picnic lunch, drinks and snacks
Everything that is not indicated in the "price includes" section.

Meeting point 15min before departure at the Compagnie des Bateaux ticket office (next to MS Libellule), Quai Napoléon III in Annecy

Required level

Intermediate: A hike of accessible difficulty for anyone in good physical condition. 300 m to 600 m of difference in altitude and 4 to 5 hours of walking on average per day. Carry a light backpack for the day. Hike on comfortable mountain trails with no technical difficulties. Ideal for discovering hiking over several days. A little hiking experience is required.

Participant’s personal equipment

High hiking boots, warm and weather-resistant clothing (down jacket, windproof and waterproof jacket), backpack for picnics or snacks, water, sunscreen, cap ...
When the weather permits, it is possible to swim on a supervised paying beach. Think about providing jersey and towel.
For safety reasons, people who do not have the right equipment on the day of the trip may be refused by the mountain guide.

COLLECTIVE OUTING : Confirmed outings only from 5 people booked / time slot. Groups can be formed up to 12 participants maximum / 1 mountain leader.
