Once you’ve completed the approach walk and passed through the large entrance chamber, the route begins with several sections where you climb up into large galleries using ladders and handrails. You then need to put on your wetsuit in the pillar chamber to reach the river. From there, the route is very much an aquatic experience: lakes, rapids, waterfalls – the atmosphere is magnificent!
Weather conditions for this exploration must be stable; the underground river is accessible almost all year round provided the water level is not too high.
The caving guides and instructors are all state-certified. They have all the necessary equipment for rescue operations and organising caving trips. They will be on hand to advise you and help you discover the activity in a friendly atmosphere and in small groups. Most of our guides are locals from the Bornes, Bauges and Aravis regions, and they can advise you on other fun activities or outdoor sports.
