Climbing Cycle for 5–7-Year-Olds – 5-Session Pack

Climbing Cycle for 5–7-Year-Olds – 5-Session Pack

Climbing is an ideal sport for young children, as it allows them to approach vertical movement gently and progressively. It offers many fundamental benefits: pushing personal limits, building self-confidence and trust in others, improving motor coordination, agility, and the ability to overcome obstacles. That’s why we offer a climbing program for children aged 5 to 7, in spring and autumn. Group lessons take place outdoors in natural environments, with a maximum of 8 children per group. These wide-open spaces provide a fantastic playground for our little climbers!

Climbing Program for Ages 5–7

Climbing Program for Ages 5–7

Perfectly suited for young climbers, this climbing program takes place on Wednesday mornings as half-day sessions, at various beginner-friendly climbing sites around Lake Annecy designed for safe learning.

Over the course of these five half-days, children will discover the basics of climbing: how to put on a harness, tie-in knots, belaying, and essential safety rules.
Under the supervision of a certified climbing instructor, kids will gradually improve their climbing technique through sessions that combine a structured, educational approach with a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Beginners will quickly feel comfortable on the holds and will soon be trying out new rock routes to gain confidence and climb a little higher each time!
Through various games and activities, children will develop their motor skills, balance, and coordination.
Several workshops will also be introduced, such as rappelling and ziplining, to make the experience even more exciting.

In case of bad weather, sessions can be held indoors to ensure continuity of the program.
