The Junior Mountain Club is designed as the natural continuation of the summer climbing camps organised by the Bureau des Guides d’Annecy.
The aim is to give children and teenagers the opportunity to practise regularly outside French school holidays, in a natural, safe and motivating environment. Climbing is the main focus of the programme: children learn how to climb, use basic equipment, build confidence and gradually become more comfortable with height.
Depending on the age group, weather and conditions, some sessions may also include a discovery outing such as an adapted via ferrata, hiking, caving, mountain biking or nature exploration.
Groups are organised by age and level in order to offer suitable progression for everyone. The atmosphere remains friendly, playful and focused on the pleasure of being active outdoors.
