The canyon de Balme or canyon des Rots de Balme is a real pleasure for beginners who wish to discover the fun and "fun" aspect of canyoning in Haute-Savoie.
The route begins with small jumps to descend abseiling to reach pools of white water and tumultuous, a kind of acclimatization before descending a waterfall of about 25 m, with the vegetation around it looks like in the tropics but in the mountains!
The rest of the route follows an itinerary including jumps, slides and glides on the buttocks to please the smallest, but also the largest, who will have fun in the basins of cool water during the most hot periods of summer.
The approach walk to access the canyon is only 10 minutes and it is possible to exit the canyon at any time, for the full course of this canyon, it takes 2 h 30 which allows to organize this outing half day.
