canyon terneze bauges

Canyoning in Ternèze

The Ternèze canyon is the most beautiful canyon in Savoie, but also the shortest! So, we do it several times for the joy of young and old. Slides, jumps, siphon, basins and "fun" for this canyon which is a kind of natural water park. If you want to refresh yourself, you won't be disappointed, as this is a 100% aquatic canyon unlike other more technical canyons. If you want to refresh yourself, you won't be disappointed, as this is a 100% aquatic canyon unlike other more technical canyons. Located near Chambéry and Challes-Les-Eaux, the canyon is easily accessible from the Bauges or Aix-les-Bains. If you are looking for a fun, accessible and not too challenging canyon, this is an ideal site to have a good time. Be careful to choose your times carefully, as the crowds can be quite large.

A playful and fun canyon

The Ternéze canyon is our favourite for families and children who want to spend a good time together in white water in a natural setting. It is located between Chambéry (73) and Challes-les-Eaux (73), nearby there is the via ferrata of the Dent du Chat and the via ferrat Jules Carret, you are in the Bauges massif, and you can also complete your canyon day with the canyon of the Pont du Diable or the Reposoir
The interest of this canyon is essentially its beauty, it is a remarkable geological feature which will not leave you indifferent, especially as the quality of the water is incredible, especially if you go there early in the morning after a very cool night.
The canyon is divided into several slides throwing you into pools, there are also several possible jumps, abseils, and even siphons to cross underwater, but don't worry nothing extreme!

Children will love this canyon which is probably the most playful of the Savoie and Haute-Savoie departments combined!

The other advantage of this canyon is that it is so much fun that you can do it several times! The site is also an ideal place to spend some time in the cool of the mountains or around a picnic, but be careful to leave the place clean when you leave.
If you're up for it, be sure to book in advance to ensure you get a slot, especially in the summer.
